On Sunday 10 November 2024, many gathered to commemorate the contribution British and Commonwealth military and civilian service men and women involved in the two world wars. A poppy wreath was laid at the War Memorial outside St Alphege Church, on behalf of Solihull Lions by its President, Ken Bate.

On Thursday 19th December and Friday 20th December Lions will be collecting for Local Charities at Morrisons Supermarket Sheldon from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

On Thursday 19th December and Friday 20th December we shall be collecting for our Local Charities Appeal from 10.00am to 4.00pm courtesy of Morrisons at Sheldon.
We recently gave £2600.00 to purchase a special Pushchair for a local Deaf and Blind boy who is also severely disabled.
