It was Friday Afternoon 26th April and 70 invited local Pensioners were entertained by two pianists playing a selection of well known tunes and songs from the shows even a bit of Scott Joplin Ragtime.
Guests were there by invitation.
For the main event there were Egg Mayonnaise, Salmon and Cucumber plus Cream Cheese with Chives and Lettuce Sandwiches, these were followed by Jam and Cream scones, Lemon and Blueberry Cake and a lovely selection of dainty fancy cakes too. All of this was crowned by a Raspberry dessert served in a little coupe with a heart shaped shortbread biscuit and cream to top it off.
A Raffle was held for loads of biscuits, chocolates, Ginger Cake and Goodies in aid of our works to maintain and repair the Defibrillators around Solihull that we have previously sponsored. We raised over £93.00.
and everyone had a good time.
